Age Positive Event

Almost 40 people enjoyed a trip down memory lane as part of an age positive
event at 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 Record Office.
The 鈥楤eatnik or Hippy鈥� event took visitors on a journey of nostalgia with music
and artefacts reminding them what it was like to live in 黑料吃瓜网 in the 50s
and 60s.
Photographs and newspapers from the archives and a collection of wonderful
clothes, books, games and household objects from the museum all helped to jog
memories of a bygone era.
The event was organised as part of Age Positive Week and was thoroughly enjoyed
by all who attended.
Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr Chris Bithell, said:
鈥淎ge Positive Week is an annual celebration of all that鈥檚 positive about
ageing and I鈥檓 delighted that 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 Record Office supported it by
putting on this great event for local residents.鈥�
